Welcome to the HIMSS Washington State Chapter, a local chapter of the Health Information and Management Systems Society, focused on providing leadership in healthcare for the management of systems, technology and information.
The Chapter promotes an organized forum for continuing education and exchange of ideas amongst its members to improve healthcare information and management systems that support patient care and wellness.
We have significantly upgraded and expanded the content of our chapter website. Our objective is for the website to function as our primary method of communication between and amongst YOU, the members that we serve.

Thanks for your interest in volunteering with HIMSS Washington!
HIMSS Washington is a volunteer organization whose primary goal is to bring quality healthcare educational programs to Washington State. We are always interested in speaking with chapter members and other interested parties who wish to contribute a portion of their free time to enhance the quality and number of our events, while concurrently advancing the stature of Health Information Technology professionals in our state.
Volunteering is also a great way to expand your network of professional contacts. We are fortunate to have many members who hold leadership positions in some of the country's most highly regarded healthcare organizations, IT technology and services organizations and consulting firms.
